Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Radiology Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered, academic medical environment. In this role, you will perform general radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate imaging, optimal patient positioning, and strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment while documenting care in PACS and the EMR. Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
  • Position patients, operate radiologic equipment, and ensure accurate image acquisition
  • Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self
  • Verify patient identification, obtain relevant clinical history, and document procedures in the EMRCollaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and report service issues promptly
  • Support teaching and research activities aligned with Dell Medical School's academic mission
  • Provide compassionate, culturally competent care in a diverse, community-focused environment
