Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Perform routine clinical tasks like recording vital signs, administering injections, and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
- Manage patient documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality while complying with healthcare regulations.
- Educate and communicate with patients on treatment plans and healthcare maintenance under physician direction.
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Adept at maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
