Job Description

Signature HealthCARE seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations in our long-term care and post-acute facility. In this resident-centered, faith-based environment, you will oversee nursing services, staffing, and care quality while ensuring compliance with all regulations. The Director of Nursing will guide interdisciplinary care planning, champion infection control and quality improvement, and mentor nursing staff in servant leadership. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for all nursing services in a long-term care and post-acute facility
  • Ensure high-quality, resident-centered clinical care aligned with Signature Health

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and survey readiness
  • Recruit, mentor, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff; foster a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and effective use of EHR systems
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families to optimize resident outcomes
  • Manage nursing budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation to support safe, efficient care
  • Promote resident dignity, safety, and satisfaction through continuous improvement and best practices
  • Support staff development with ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback
