General Description:
The Mammographer performs specialized breast imaging services on OU Health patients to aid Providers in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of breast conditions, defects and/or diseases. This position is intended for those who are gaining experience as a Mammographer or experienced imaging professionals who wish to begin a career in Mammography. Work is typically performed in outpatient environments across OU Health locations.

General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications (Level 1):
Education: Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT. Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
Experience: No prior experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
ARRT(RT)(M) required within 1 year of hire.
Minimum Qualifications (Level 2):
Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Mammographer required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
ARRT(RT)(M) required.
Minimum Qualifications (Level 3):
Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Mammographer required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
ARRT(RT)(M) required.
