Qualifications
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· 1 Year relevant experience in high volume restaurant, hospital, or Institution
· FHC – Food Handlers Certificate 30 days required
· Knowledge of food preparation/handling, and principles of sanitation Restaurant or institutional food services experience preferred
What You Will Do
· Organizes work/area for maximum production, accurately follows production sheets
· Deliver and Stock supply items in designated areas in an accurate and timely manner
· Maintains kitchen and serving areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner to exceed department and TDH standards.
· Understands how to read and prepare simple recipes to department standards.
· Understand department standards of food quality and recipe taste
· Ability to learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.

Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
