Work hours: Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week (Hybrid work allowed at manager's discretion)
Accounting Department highlights:
· Our group supports 31 entities and over 380 free standing clinics.
· We work directly with entity CFOs, CEOs, Facilities Development, Engineering, Supply Chain and Real Estate groups to ensure the capital process follows GAAP and our extended team stays well informed.
· We help grow and support Texas Health Resources to be the strongest regional healthcare system in North Texas
What You Will Do:
Performs general ledger accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries; and account reconciliations. Researches and resolves discrepancies. 30%
Participates in monthly and year-end close by gathering and analyzing data to accurately prepare and report financial information. 20%
Conducts general budget to variance analysis. 20%
Addresses relevant accounting questions from financial planning and financial operations. 20%
Supports special requests and projects as directed by the leadership. 10%
What You Need:
Education
Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related field Accounting Required Req
Experience
2 Years Relevant work experience Req
Demonstrates working knowledge of Net Patient Service Revenue (NPSR) and patient accounts receivable valuation, supporting accurate financial reporting and analysis. Pref
Utilizes data processing and analytics tools such as Kodiak RCA, Alteryx, and Power Query improving workflow efficiency and data reliability. Pref
Contributes to trend and variance analysis by identifying fluctuations and supporting the evaluation of key drivers. Pref
Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to share insights, address discrepancies, and support overall operational and financial objectives. Pref

Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
