Work location:
· Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093
Work hours:
· PRN-As Needed/Days Variable Shifts
· 6 shifts per six-week requirement
GI Pain Management Department Highlights:
· Self-Contained outpatient department providing pain management
· Endoscopy and Lithotripsy procedures
· Responsible for preparing patients, performing procedures and recovery
· Fast paced and great team environment

· Monday-Fridays, no weekends, or holidays
· Nursing Diploma required or
· Associate’s Degree of Nursing required
· Bachelor’s degree of Nursing preferred
· 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
· Experience in a procedural area (pre, procedure, recovery) preferred
· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire and
· PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire and
· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
