Director of Hospitality and Supply Chain

Job Description

The Director of Hospitality and Supply Chain provides operational leadership and oversight for key support-service functions that directly impact patient, visitor, staff, provider, and community experience at Russell Medical. This position is responsible for the effective management of Supply Chain, Environmental Services, and Culinary Services, which includes but is not limited to, hospitality-focused service standards, inventory control, procurement support, vendor coordination, value analysis, community-facing service support, assigned organizational events/services, and operational efficiency across assigned areas. The Director ensures that supplies, services, cleanliness, food service, and internal support processes are delivered in a manner that is cost-effective, compliant, timely, service-oriented, and aligned with Russell Medical's mission, vision, and values. This role works closely with hospital leadership, department managers, frontline staff, vendors, clinical departments, physicians, recruitment/talent acquisition partners, and community stakeholders to support safe operations, strong customer service, measurable cost savings, emergency preparedness, and a positive experience for patients, families, employees, providers, candidates, and guests. The Director also supports the use of technology, reporting tools, inventory systems, and performance data to improve workflow, monitor service quality, reduce waste, strengthen accountability, identify cost-savings opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Experience Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, hospitality, Supply Chain, supply chain, environmental services, food service, value analysis, emergency preparedness support, community-facing service support, or a related operational field preferred. Experience managing multiple departments, budgets, vendors, supply-cost initiatives, frontline service teams, and public facing service functions strongly preferred. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations No specific license required. Relevant certifications in supply chain, healthcare Supply Chain, value analysis, food safety, environmental services, hospitality, leadership, emergency preparedness, or related fields are preferred. Equipment, Tools, Work Aids Standard use of office equipment.
