Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
Must be on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T), and Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.
Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
Knowledge of current IDPH regulation.
Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
Previous clinical experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to work under pressure due to fluctuating workloads and deadlines.
High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
Strong computer knowledge.
Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must be competent in all assigned areas.
Must demonstrate collaborative and problem-solving skills as required for this position.
