Job Summary: Must possess positive people skills and a can do attitude. Must be willing to work flexible hours and/or shifts to accommodate the needs of the hospital; on call schedule and weekend work schedule. Plan and perform a wide variety of electrical maintenance and installation of all types of equipment and perform any other departmental maintenance work as assigned by your supervisor. Keep current logs of all generator tests, fire protection systems and all other related test documentation as required by regulatory agencies. Troubleshoot, and maintain all electrical systems within GMH, and affiliates as required. Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings. Order material as needed to complete work. Perform any assigned PM duties and other responsibilities as required. Work with other trades as necessary to meet workload and schedules. Qualify for on call, weekend and off shift work. Keep assigned areas clean and neat in appearance.
