Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises quality control in radiology department. Evaluates quality of radiologic films and coordinates film quality with radiologists. Responsible for staffing, work schedules, staff evaluations, patient management, equipment maintenance and development of policies and procedures. Makes effective recommendations on issues involving the hiring, promotion, and discipline of staff.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program with ARRT or ARCRT.
Permit to practice from the State of Iowa.
BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
Must demonstrate competency in a Radiology setting in multiple modalities for a minimum of three years.
