Job Description
Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
- 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
- 3-5 years in MRI
- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient types including patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body imaging
- GE and Siemens experience required
- EPIC required
- GE Discovery 750W required
- Siemens Aera required
- Siemens Magnetom Skyra required
- McKesson PACS required
- Covid vaccine required
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Shift Days: Monday-Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
- On-call: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Backup on-call: Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- 30-minute response time for on-call responsibilities
- Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
- Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours, with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
- Holiday expectations based on unit needs
- No floating. MRI only
- 3 days of orientation
