Job Summary: Performs all required ultrasound and clinical at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Assists the Supervisor with the daily operations of the vascular laboratory and training staff as needed.Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular laboratory examinations.
Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
Coordinates work schedule with Supervisor/Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage.
Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while in the technologist/sonographers care.
Assists with the daily operations of the vascular laboratory
Required Qualifications:
Vocational or Technical training in Vascular Technology required. Bachelor's degree in Vascular technology preferred.
ARDMS- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required,. and certification required: Basic Life Support certification, Registered vascular Tech- RVT or Registered Vascular Specialist- RVS
5-8 years related work experience required.
New hires will have 30 days to provide BLS certification. Certification has to be with the American Heart Association (AHA).
Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Pay Range:
$51.45 - $76.45The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . The hospitals Non Invasive Vascular laboratory was accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
For the second year in a row, the American Association for Respiratory Care awarded the hospital its Quality Respiratory Care Recognition. The hospital had no ventilator acquired pneumonia cases during the last year.
The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
