QUALIFICATIONS
Education Required: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Education Preferred: Advance education in CAT scan technology
Experience Required: One year diagnostic technology
Experience Preferred: One year of CT
Other Skills/Knowledge Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team

ARRT registered in Radiology and CT

JOB FUNCTIONS
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
How to perform safety and quality checks, including verifying exam orders.
Completing CT examinations following established exam protocols-established by CT Radiologist.
Entering examinations correctly, ensuring accurate and informative documentation and appropriate charges are entered.
How to electronically send and store images and data appropriately in PACS.
Departmental procedures for maintaining records and logs to monitor quality and safety in accordance with departmental policies.
Equipment cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment presenting the best possible impression of facilities and fostering our culture of safety.
Experience with supply and equipment issues to ensure optimum operations, equipment quality and long-term equipment maintenance and life.
Transporting and providing ambulatory assistance to patients as necessary.
Education process and how to inform patients and family members throughout the patients' experience.
Communication effectively with the healthcare team utilizing established handoff procedures. Gives and accepts respectful feedback to enhance teamwork and the clinical training experience.
Minimizing preventable harm events and consistently executing the infection control protocols. Incorporates the Culture of Safety tools in daily practice, adhering to quality and safety guidelines and communicating near-miss or potential risks.
Pay Range:
$47.00 - $69.84The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . The hospital offers a wide range of acute care services to meet the needs of our growing patient population including inpatient and outpatient surgery in fully digitized computerized operating room suites, cardiology including echocardiography and a cardiac cath lab, comprehensive cancer services, orthopedics, nuclear medicine, laboratory, noninvasive vascular lab, joint replacement program and birth center.

The hospitals Non Invasive Vascular laboratory was accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
For the second year in a row, the American Association for Respiratory Care awarded the hospital its Quality Respiratory Care Recognition. The hospital had no ventilator acquired pneumonia cases during the last year.
The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
