Under general supervision of the Process Manager and Section Head, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of routine and advanced MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) procedures in the presence of a strong magnetic field while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety. Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology Program.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with (MR) designation. BLS certified.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate must be proficient in Cross Sectional Anatomy, the use of MRI Scanners/power injectors/venipuncture or in the absence of this skill the ability to be trained to a level of competency. Candidate must be proficient in Magnet safety.
Experience: Two years experience in a hospital setting. Good working knowledge of PACS or in the absence of this skill the ability to be trained to a level of competency.
Pay Range:
$48.00 - $71.33The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley .
