Pay & Benefits
  • Pay rate: $42.00 - $65.00/hour ($90,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience and education)

What You ll Do
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the health information management department
  • Oversee record processing, coding, filing, storage, and retrieval of patient information
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation, abstracting, and coding processes
  • Maintain compliance with policies, legal regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare leadership and staff to optimize information systems and practices
  • Manage system updates, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Represent the department in organizational activities and initiatives
What You Need
Required:
  • Current licensure or certification in health information management or related field
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of health information systems, coding, and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with trauma registry, transcription, or release of information
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies in Kansas
