TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatric Associate Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative leadership within a community-based pediatric practice serving underserved patient populations in the Sacramento area.
Position Details:
Leadership opportunity combining direct patient care with medical management responsibilities
Oversight of pediatric clinical operations, quality initiatives, and provider performance
Collaborate closely with executive and clinical leadership teams
Responsibilities include:
Clinician mentoring, evaluation, and performance improvement
Peer review oversight
Development and implementation of pediatric policies, procedures, and workflows
EHR template and workflow optimization
Oversight of referral utilization and specialty care access
Participation in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives
Compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Foster a collaborative and accountable clinical culture
Serve a diverse and underserved pediatric patient population
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday Friday
Daytime clinic hours
Clinical Responsibilities:
Comprehensive pediatric care from infancy through adolescence
Preventive care and wellness visits
Acute illness management
Chronic disease management
Developmental and behavioral assessments
Diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning
Specialty referrals and care coordination
Patient and family education
Timely review of laboratory, imaging, and consultation results
Medical record completion and billing documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of recent outpatient primary care experience
Previous leadership or management experience required
One of the following:
MD or DO with completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency
Current Board Certification in Pediatrics
Active and unrestricted California license
Ability to obtain Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payer credentialing
BLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
