Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job

Job Description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Hartford, CT. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring during procedures, and support for a variety of vascular and neurointerventional cases.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of Interventional Radiology technology experience with references.
  • Experience in both vascular and neuro interventional procedures. Neuro experience is imperative.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • BLS certification.
  • State radiologic technologist license for Connecticut.
  • Experience with procedural workflows including patient monitoring and sterile technique.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and imaging software; EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack experience noted; training available if needed.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior call experience, including weekend or holiday call rotations.
  • Experience in a hospital-based interventional radiology or special procedures department.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:30 to 16:00.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • On call every other weekend and rotating weekday call required.
  • On call one holiday if it falls within contracted dates.
