Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job

Job Description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Mesa, AZ. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment, monitor patients, and produce high-quality images for timely interpretation. Provide patient education, adhere to radiation safety policies, and contribute to efficient department workflow.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
  • State radiologic technologist license for AZ, if applicable.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Clinical experience typically achieved with 2 years in radiology or interventional radiology technologist roles.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and human relations skills.
  • Experience performing radiographic diagnostic/interventional special procedures and competence with invasive/interventional techniques, including administration of radiopharmaceuticals and approved medications, or commitment to obtain specialty certification within required timeframe if applicable.
  • Ability to perform equipment quality control, troubleshoot imaging systems, and adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional related education or experience in interventional radiology preferred.
  • Prior experience with vascular or catheterization lab procedures preferred.
