Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job

Job Description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and perform quality assurance on imaging and x-ray equipment, monitor patients, and support a high-acuity interventional practice.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience with references.
  • Experience in critical care patient management, including ICU and ER environments.
  • Experience with Angio/IR procedures such as thrombectomy, atherectomy, EVAR/TEVAR, TIPS, port placement, permcath, and stroke/trauma interventions.
  • Familiarity with IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, and JetStream equipment.
  • Experience using EPIC/Cupid documentation system preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Graduate of an AMA‑approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • State radiologic technologist license for Georgia.
  • Ability to work in a 1:1 patient ratio environment and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams (techs, RNs, RCIS).
  • Preferred: Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center or Certified Stroke Center settings.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Unit: Angiography / Interventional Labs (includes dedicated IR labs and hybrid OR).
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 0700-1730.
  • Scheduling format: 10-hour shifts.
  • Patient ratio: 1:1.
  • Team composition: Multi-disciplinary teams typically including 2 techs and 2 RNs per case.
  • Documentation system: EPIC Cupid.
  • Floating: Not applicable.
