Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Job Description

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.


Minimum Requirements:

  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Ultrasound certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred: ARDMS and/or ARRT.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. This is a client requirement.
  • New Mexico state license to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist (required).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience working in a hospital radiology department and with a range of exams including general abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, and vascular studies preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630, Monday through Friday.
  • Call Requirement: periodic on-call coverage is required, approximately 5–7 days of call per month.
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
  • Start: ASAP.
