Core competencies: The CVT will be competent to monitor and scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, intermediate and complex interventional cardiac procedures, STEMI, diagnostic and interventional arteriograms, and PE. Responsibilities also include STEMI on-call Team coverage and precepting new or existing employees.
Qualifications: Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families to achieve positive outcomes. BLS/ACLS certification required. One year of clinical experience with a Cath Lab is required. One year of traveler experience preferred. RCIS certification or graduate of an approved cardiovascular technology program is preferred. CaroMont Health may recognize alternative allied health credentials for applicants with experience in a Cath Lab. Cannot be a Full Time or Part Time CaroMont Employee.
