Core competencies: The RN will be competent to monitor and circulate diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology studies, ablations, device cases such as generator changes, PPM, and ICD implants including complex CRM devices, device explants, lead extraction, venogram, temporary pacemaker, left atrial appendage closure, and implantable loop recorders. Responsibilities may also include training new or existing employees.
Qualifications: Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals and families to achieve positive outcomes. Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license) required. BLS/ACLS certification required. One year nursing experience with an EP Lab is required. One year of traveler experience preferred. Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, special procedural settings, or critical care preferred. Cannot be a Full Time or Part Time CaroMont Employee.
