
Position Summary:
Assists in planning and prioritizing daily operations. Prepares status, statistical, and performance improvement reports. Ensures office activities are completed in a timely manner. Serves as primary trainer for specialized enterprise wide scheduling and timekeeping system. Acts as lead specialist on an assigned shift.
Equivalent to graduation from high school and two (2) years of experience as a timekeeping, staffing, and scheduling coordinator.

Staff scheduling practices and procedures; manual and electronic scheduling system; timekeeping systems; productivity and managing to targets, auditing time sheets and leave requests; record keeping, report preparation, filing methods and records management techniques; business arithmetic; Smart Force, policies, procedures, and regulations governing area of assignment; solving practical problems; department and hospital safety practices and procedures; patient rights; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seated for extended periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a VDT screen, and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
