Job Summary: Provides psychosocial assessments; plans and implements various treatment modalities including group therapy, individual therapy and family psychotherapy; works with families as indicated; supports discharge planning for complex cases in conjunction with the discharge planner; participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team process; and adheres to the hospital mission statement and goals.
Qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or a Masters Degree in the Human Services field required. One year experience in the mental health field preferred. LPC, LCMHC, P- LCSW, LCSW or LCSW-A licensure required. (Current employees with LPC-Board Eligible status hired before 10/01/2009 will be grandfathered in due to a change in state licensure laws.) Computer knowledge and good communication skills essential. Must maintain BLS certification.
