What You’ll Do

As our HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience and strengthening our workforce. You’ll:

  • Partner with leadership to drive recruiting, retention, and succession planning strategies.
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment practices to keep St. Luke ahead of the curve.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation to foster positive employee engagement.
  • Develop training and career growth programs for staff.
  • Research compensation trends to ensure competitive pay and attract top talent.
  • Administer benefits and recommend enhancements to keep our package competitive.
  • Manage FMLA requests and leave administration to support employees during critical life events.
  • Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Guide resolution of employee relations matters with professionalism and empathy.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Human Resources, related field, or comparable experience.
  • Proven HR management success.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, tact, and strong listening skills when working with employees.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.

 

Position Details:

  • Full-time, day shift
  • On-site role in Mission Valley
