The VA Maryland Health Care System Imaging Service covers imaging provided at three facilities with a total of 530 beds. The department supports a full range of radiology services, and maintains an affiliation with the University of Maryland Medical Center. Teaching is part of the clinical workflow, and research opportunities are available for those who are interested. Major Duties Include: Responsible for interpreting imaging studies and/or performing image guided procedures as defined by the clinical privileges requested and approved by the VA Maryland Health Care System Credentialing and Privileging (C&P) Board. Imaging modalities which the candidate may be responsible for include: CT, MRI, US, general radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, and nuclear medicine.
