JOB SUMMARY The Mental Health Tech provides direct patient care to individuals living in a psychiatric unit. Observes and assists assigned mental health patients and helps with daily living activities, therapeutic activities, and socialization. Responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and to ensure the safety of patients and staff. JOB SUMMARY The Speech Therapist (ST) works under the supervision of the Rehab Supervisor and the Director of Rehab. He/she is responsible to organize and conduct medically prescribed speech and language pathology services to inpatients, outpatients, and contracted services. Provides for comprehensive speech/language pathology services, upon physician order, to patients exhibiting communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders, in order to restore function, prevent disabilities, assist the patient in reaching maximum performance, and help them learn to live within the limits of their capabilities.
