Job Summary:   The Emergency Services Tech provides support for the patients, visitors, nursing and ancillary departments under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Functions and Duties: Assesses and maintains department specific equipment and products. Obtains vital signs, promptly documents, and reports any abnormal vital signs to the Nurse. Performs efficiently in emergency situations. Performs glucometer checks  and other duties as assigned within practice and skill level. Clean patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, janitor closets, store rooms  exam rooms, delivery rooms, operating rooms and clinics with the approved cleaning methods. Follow directives from Environmental Services leadership. Report to the department office and receive assignment. Collect necessary equipment and supplies and proceed directly to work area.
