JOB SUMMARY: Communicates in a "customer oriented" professional manner to assist our patients, visitors, associates and other customers. Performs all duties utilizing the best possible customer service. Operates the telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls; performs various hospital communications and clerical duties; acts as hospital receptionist as needed.   Arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of emergency patients, inpatients and outpatients after hours, on weekends, and holidays.   Ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of appropriate hospital policies and procedures.
