Job Description Summary MUSC delivers approximately 3,600 patients annually. Labor and Delivery, consists of 17 LDRs, 2 ORs, 3 PACU beds, and 4 Triage rooms. In addition to vaginal and cesarean deliveries, L&D provides operative services such as cerclage and tubal ligation. Medical support includes management of gestational/chronic diabetes, hypertension, and other high risk antepartum conditions including acceptance of high-risk maternal transports from the region. Wireless Electronic Fetal Monitoring is available in all beds. Perinatal palliative care is available as needed.
