The Speech Language Pathologist for Island Health is responsible for the clinical evaluation, development and administration of speech therapy to patients from infancy through adults. The Speech Language Pathologist performs prescribed treatments in an outpatient and inpatient setting which includes Modified Barium Swallow Studies. This position works independently with minimal supervision and makes judgments regarding the care for speech therapy patients. Position Requirements: Must have a Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders or Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university. Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Must be currently licensed as a Speech Pathologist by the WA Department of Health. Must maintain current BLS Certification. For Information on Employee Benefits Salary Range: $37.46-$56.25 per hour
