We are seeking to hire a highly motivated research technician (~40 hrs/wk) with interest and experience in wet-lab science, who will support and lead cancer genomic research projects. The successful candidate will join the laboratory of Prof. Bradley Bernstein and work primarily with a senior postdoctoral fellow, in addition to assisting with general lab management. The technician will be responsible for carrying out experiments and analyzing data related to an ongoing research project focused on viral-like elements in the human genome and their role in lung cancer treatment response. A Research Associate – Research Technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Keith Ligon in the fields of brain tumor biology and precision medicine in the Department of Pathology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Prior laboratory research experience (1–3 years preferred) is strongly encouraged. The position will involve multidisciplinary studies of cancer cell biology and mechanisms of treatment response and resistance in adult and pediatric gliomas, with a focus on patient-derived tumor models (including organoids and PDX) and functional genomics approaches (e.g., CRISPR-based perturbation).
