Description Come join our exceptional Department of Neurobiology, and help lead the advancement of cutting-edge basic science research into explorations of the brain and central nervous system. In this research technician (SRA 2) role you'll work in the nexus of neuroscience research at UCLA, and will:
* Perform research on the cortical control of eye movements using animals as models.
* Conduct research experiments in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols; this includes: collecting neurophysiological and behavioral data in awake behaving animals, handling the animals, assisting the PI and lab members in surgical procedures, and maintaining surgical implants.
* Maintain accurate records of procedures used to conduct experiments.
* Use computers to conduct analyses of experimental data.
