About this Job: General Summary of Position The Inpatient pharmacy at MedStar Harbor Hospital is hiring a Full Time Pharmacy Technician II. This is a Night Shift 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 7 On - 7 Off Schedule.   Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician prepares and fills routine orders for prescribed medications; restocks automated dispensing machines; repackages medications; compounds both sterile and non-sterile medications.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assists pharmacists in obtaining patient specific information as appropriate for safe medication management. Under direct supervision participates in the exchange of information with appropriate healthcare professionals and staff.
