Job Summary:  Responsible for day to day clinical pharmacy services including pharmacist supervision, scheduling and staff training.  Responsible for keeping labor cost at or below budget.  Supports pharmacy team with formulary management and drug shortages. Serves as coordinator and support person for Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Value Analysis Committee and Medication Safety Committee.  Has oversight for Pharmacy Residency programs and Antimicrobial Stewardship.   Develops, implements, and manages high performing clinical programs and services as it relates to clinical pharmacy, medications safety and formulary management.  Serves as an effective pharmacy liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Job Summary :     The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations position helps to participate in, direct, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department related to medication preparation and distribution and other pharmacy supported services. The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations assigns duties and tasks to employees; monitors workload and makes appropriate adjustment to achieve patient care goals; creates and monitors work schedule to ensure adequate staffing.
