Provide administrative support for the Nursing Education Coordinator including assisting in the professional growth and development of Island Health’s nursing staff to achieve excellence through evidence-based training. Provide assistance in the development, planning, and implementation of nurse competencies, continuing education, and staff development. Provide administrative support to the ED Department in regard to scheduling and staffing. Duties: Assist in the administrative support for numerous hospital learning management systems (LMS) to provide data entry, facilitat e course completion entries, run reports, and log training as well as assist in the assigning of training courses and other curricula. Assist in the uploading of new employee information in learning management systems and help maintain LMS database information.
