The Medical Lab Technician/ UKHC will be responsible for assisting in the pre-analytical support for a fast-paced academic medical center. The Laboratory provides services to all aspects of the Level I trauma center and throughout the healthcare enterprise, including solid organ and bone marrow transplant, KY Children’s Hospital, and Markey Cancer Center. This position is in the Central Processing/Receiving department within the Clinical Laboratory and the Processing/ Receiving Department with the Emergency Department Laboratory. The MLT will provide general laboratory receipt, processing, and throughput of patient specimens while adhering to HIPAA requirements.
