IOP (intensive outpatient program) serves State College Area School District students in grades 6-12.  This is a unique partnership between UPMC and State College Area School District. The Intensive Outpatient Program supports adolescents who need treatment/services due to a psychiatric condition that is interfering with their ability to function successfully within the community/school. This program is designed to avoid a higher level of care or to use as a step-down service within a mental health continuum. Purpose: The Outpatient Behavioral Health Department provides services for adults who meet criteria for mental health and co-occurring disorders initiative with Allegheny County. This position works Monday through Friday with daylight hours and evening hours one day a week.
