Location:  Hospital - Laundry 80/pp Full Time, 2p-10:30p; includes every other weekend  Job Summary: Process soiled linen, collect soiled linen, sort & wash soiled linen. Process clean washed linen, prepare delivery, deliver, pick-up soiled linen. Works with team members to complete tasks & keep records. Assists with training team members & demonstrates new techniques. Performs data collection for quality improvement.   Supervisory Responsibilities:   None   Duties/Responsibilities: ·       U ses proper PPE when handling soiled linen. ·       Collect soiled linen, in a safe & timely manner. Sort soiled linen, weigh linen for washers & document weight accuracy. Report foreign objects found in linen for safety. Properly load washers. The PCT assists patients in a variety of activities and may also participate in other organizational activities as needed. Ensures safety in all activities and follows all relevant safety guidelines. Documents as appropriate. Follows all regulations and compliance mandates.  P rovides compassionate care before and after treatment and during long inpatient stays. PCT may also be required to transport patients. These professionals replace older forms of patient supervision like restraints and seclusion rooms.
