Department:          Nutritional Services Reports To:           Nutritional Services Manager   SUMMARY Prepares, cooks, bakes and cleans up meals for patients, employees, and special events by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Checks and verifies patient count and correct diet when in job classification. Reviews daily menus (patient, employee, special events) and determines amount of food needed for the morning or evening meals. Department:          Dietary Reports To :           Chief Operating Officer        SUMMARY Provides nutrition screening, assessments and recommendations to inpatients and outpatients to improve nutritional status.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Clinical Dietitian works directly patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis and coordinates nutrition care with a variety of departments, as needed.  Screens and assesses the nutritional needs of clients using specialized knowledge and skills, anticipates the outcome of nutrition interventions.  Documents information in progress note area of inpatient chart.  Informs nursing, medical staff and involved departments of recommendations. Coordinates Diabetes outpatient and inpatient program with Diabetic Nurse Educator.  Team teaches series of group classes for people with diabetes.  Utilizes process of Diabetes Self-Management Training in educational encounters....
