Position Title: Cytotechnologist - Anatomic Pathology - PRN Department: Anatomic Pathology Lab Job Description: General Description: Under general supervision, performs basic processing and microscopic evaluation of Cytology specimens. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Receives and prepares specimens for analysis according to specifications related to the type of specimen. Performs routine screening of Gyn and Non-Gyn Cytology specimens. Assists in the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens. Conducts quality control procedures as needed. Results and electronically signs out appropriate Cytology reports.
