Responsible for assisting residents in ambulating and gait training as well as exercises (active and passive) and other treatments which would assist the individual resident in reaching and maintaining the highest level of rehabilitative potential. The RCA will perform tasks, which do not require professional training but will be expected to perform the duties in accordance with established methods and techniques and in conformance with recognized standards as directed by the rehabilitation department and/or nursing staff when needed.
