JOB SUMMARY The Speech Therapist (ST) works under the supervision of the Rehab Supervisor and the Director of Rehab. He/she is responsible to organize and conduct medically prescribed speech and language pathology services to inpatients, outpatients, and contracted services. Provides for comprehensive speech/language pathology services, upon physician order, to patients exhibiting communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders, in order to restore function, prevent disabilities, assist the patient in reaching maximum performance, and help them learn to live within the limits of their capabilities.
