Job Description: The Surgical Technologist performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to ensure a safe and successful operative procedure. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and directly reports to Surgical Services management. It is expected that the Surgical Technologist will support system wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices. About Primary Children's Hospital Primary Children's Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center that is open 24/7/365 with most scheduled surgeries being performed Monday-Friday between 0700-1700. Job Description: The Surgical Technologist performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to ensure a safe and successful operative procedure. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and directly reports to Surgical Services management. It is expected that the Surgical Technologist will support system wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices. In addition, this person will actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan as outlined. Schedule and Shift This position is full time at 36 hours per week. The position will work between 6:30AM - 5PM based on surgery volumes on varying days. Flexibility in availability is expected for this position.
