Building Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center Department: 2003400 SURGERY - SMMC HOSP Job Description: Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to serve on the cardiac call team at St. Mary's Medical Center, located in Duluth, Minnesota. This surgical technologist works 36 hours weekly on 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 10:00 am to 6:30 pm shifts. On-call requirements include weekdays after 6:30 pm and 24-hour on-call over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). These responsibilities rotate between members of the cardiac core team. Responsible for observing aseptic techniques in preparing and assisting with surgical procedures.  Providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for operations, according to hospital policy and routine of surgeon.
