Overview About the Role   The primary purpose of the Principal Informatics Pharmacist position is to assure the accuracy, integrity, and security of the Pharmacy System Database. Coordinates the implementation and testing efforts related to pharmacy information systems, such as, EPIC modules. Provides support and direction to pharmacy staff, monitors pharmacy system activity and assists and trains personnel in the utilization of the system. Provides highly qualified consultative expertise in the delivery of application level solutions for the Pharmacy Department and troubleshoots and monitors issues that arise. Will also serve as the subject matter expert in 340B regulations, medication acquisition workflows, and data integrity, while simultaneously supporting informatics functions withinthe Pharmacy Department.
