Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit Weekend Work Program. The RN delivers high-acuity, evidence-based care to adult step-down patients, including cardiac and complex medical cases. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, implementing care plans, titrating drips, coordinating interdisciplinary care, patient and family education, and safe transitions of care. The nurse upholds quality, safety, and infection control standards while mentoring peers, precepting as needed, and contributing to our teaching hospital's culture of compassion, learning, and teamwork.
