Department: Emergency Department Shift: Night Shift, 12-Hour Full-Time
The Emergency Department RN provides safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ED RN delivers direct patient care, guides support staff, and provides patient and family education while maintaining professional nursing standards. This role is accountable for patient care in a fast-paced, acute care environment and works closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department during night shift, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
Apply the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and telemetry; respond rapidly to changes.
Communicate patient status, diagnostic results, and treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
