Our team is comprised of RNs and LNAs who float between different units to help cover inpatient staffing needs. As a department, we support up to 20 different units ranging from Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, Critical Care, to Maternal Child. Unit Description: Inpatient Psychiatric RNs work on both of our mental health care units: a 16-bed locked unit that cares for both voluntary & involuntary individuals and a 12-bed locked unit designed primarily for voluntary individuals requiring acute mental health care. Our RNs actively participate in treatment plans, treatment rounds, psychiatric assessment and care, along with medical/surgical assessment and care. This position is part of the multidisciplinary team comprised of MHT/LNAs, RNs, Providers, Social Worker/Case Managers, and Group Therapists.
