JOB SUMMARY Provides direct and indirect patient care within the RN scope of practice. Provide care to patients based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.  Performs general nursing duties in all departments with appropriate supervision. Immediately supervised by Flow Facilitator. Reports to Emergency Department Director. Non-Exempt position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs Registered Nurse duties within the RN scope of practice. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other healthcare team members as required, and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal medical and/or trauma care of the patient.
